Exum played quarterback and defensive back for Deep Run last season as a junior. At defensive back, he recorded 20 tackles and hauled in three interceptions last season. On offense, he totaled 1,518 yards (860 passing, 658 rushing) and scored 25 total touchdowns (13 rushing, 12 passing).
A two-sport standout, Exum is also performs well in basketball. His father, Antone, Sr., is the head basketball coach at Huguenot High School in Richmond.
